We have a secure transaction environment for commerce on the internet. Our online transaction system uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificate to provide the highest available level of security, and an authentication is provided to ensure your online shopping experience is safe and secure at all times.
The SSL certificate highlights the browser address bar in green to signal the validation of Factor and also applies 2048bit encryption for the highest assurance. SSL is the industry standard for encryption technology and is compatible with Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Google Chrome, and most other browsers.
With the combination of our SSL certification our Website and your use of a secure browser, you can be assured that your transaction booking details are encrypted. Specific provisions for overseas jurisdictions Singapore
(A) Clause 1 (About our Privacy Policy) Factor ("we", "us" or "our") recognizes the importance of privacy and is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals when handling their personal information. We handle personal information for purposes relating to our business functions and activities. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we handle personal information in an open and transparent manner in accordance with the nine main obligations contained in the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (the "PDPA") and in similar overseas legislation. By providing us with your personal information, you consent to us handling it in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you provide us with any personal information about another individual, then we rely upon you to inform him or her of the details contained in our Privacy Policy.
Broadly speaking, the nine main obligations which organizations are required to comply with if they undertake activities relating to the collection, use or disclosure of personal data may be summarized as follows. The sections of the PDPA which set out these obligations are noted below for reference.
i) The Consent Obligation (PDPA sections 13to 17): An organization must obtain the consent of the individual before collecting, using, or disclosing his personal data for a purpose.

iv) The Access and Correction Obligations(PDPA sections 21 and 22): An organization must, upon request, (i) provide an individual with his or her personal data in the possession or under the control of the organization and information about the ways in which the personal data may have been used or disclosed during the past year; and (ii) correct an error or omission in an individual's personal data that is in the possession or under the control of the organization.
v) The Accuracy Obligation (PDPA section23): An organization must make a reasonable effort to ensure that personal data collected by or on behalf of the organization is accurate and complete if the personal data is likely to be used by the organization to make a decision that affects the individual concerned or disclosed by the organization to another organization.
vi) The Protection Obligation (PDPA section24): An organization must protect personal data in its possession or under its control by making reasonable security arrangements to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or similar risks.
vii) The Retention Limitation Obligation(PDPA section 25): An organization must cease to retain documents containing personal data or remove the means by which the personal data can be associated with particular individuals as soon as it is reasonable to assume that (i) the purpose for which the personal data was collected is no longer being served by retention of the personal data, and (ii) retention is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
viii) The Transfer Limitation Obligation (PDPA section 26): An organization must not transfer personal data to a country or territory outside Singapore except in accordance with the requirements prescribed under the PDPA.
ix) The Accountability Obligation (PDPA sections 11 and 12): An organization must implement the necessary policies and procedures to meet its obligations under the PDPA and shall make information about its policies and procedures publicly available.

(B) Clause 5 (How we hold and protect personal information):

Affiliates and Subsidiaries
We may disclose information we collect within the Panelist family of companies to deliver products and services to you, ensure a consistent level of service, and enhance our products, services, and your customer experience.
Service Providers
We provide access to or disclose your information to select third parties who perform services on our behalf. They have access to perform these services but are prohibited from using your information for other purposes. They provide a variety of services to us, including billing, sales, marketing, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer service, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services.
Protection of Factor and Others
By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that we may access, retain and disclose the information we collect and maintain about you if required to do so by law or in a good faith belief that such access, retention or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process (e.g. a subpoena or court order); (b) enforce our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, or other contracts with you, including investigation of potential violations thereof; (c) respond to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties; (d) respond to your requests for customer service; and/or (e) protect the rights, property or personal safety of Factor, its agents and affiliates, its users and/or the public. As we continue to develop our business, we may buy, merge, or partner with other companies.
